Membership Rates
IFE Canada Branch collects member dues from its Canadian Members on behalf of the UK Branch. Funds go towards the main branch and corporate expenses as well as providing for the ongoing operations of the local Branch. The Canada Branch provides competitive membership rates at a reduced cost for Canadian Members. Membership dues are an important part of ensuring the Institution of Fire Engineers, like any other is able to provide service and ongoing support to its members. Membership dues are required at the start of each year.
Since the IFE is headquartered in the UK, our dues structure and fees paid to the UK Branch are based on the Great Britain Pound. The fees are periodically adjusted relative to the exchange rate between the Canadian Dollar and the Great Britain Pound. The Canadian Branch continues to offer membership rates reasonable to the services and expenses incurred in maintaining the membership system.
We look forward to having you as a member! Please choose the One Time Payment option below for new memberships or if you would prefer to pay annually. You can choose to set up recurring annual payments using the recurring option for your membership grade so the appropriate amount is automatically deducted at renewal.
Invoices are sent out via email in November of each year. Please advise us if you have changed either your email or mailing address at any point through the year as we communicate to the membership through both means, including event notification and the International Fire Professional Journal.
Please note: When renewing by PayPal, the login is your PayPal login. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can click the link below the login to pay using your credit card. Please remember to let us know if you are paying for a member using an account or name different to our records. Some municipal/corporate credit cards will have issues with PayPal where the mailing address used does not match the municipality/corporate address.
