Fellow Grade (FIFireE)
The Fellow Grade is available to individuals who have demonstrated significant individual responsibility, sustained achievement and exceptional professionalism during their career in the many professions of Fire Engineering.
Applicants for the Fellow Grade will have held the Member Grade (MIFireE) for a minimum of three years at the time of application. A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate successful leadership or outstanding service/contribution to the fire engineering profession over an extended period, not normally less than 15 years. Applications must be supported by two Fellow members of the Institution of Fire Engineers.

There is no Application Fee for seeking a membership grade. Upon successful review of your application, you will be notified and the applicable fee for your membership grade will be required to complete the designation.

How long will it take before my application is accepted?
The Applications Panel in Canada sits approximately every four to six weeks. We will review your application and if complete, will forward it on to the UK. Their Applications Panel also sits approximately every four to six weeks. When we receive your application, within this period, will affect how quickly it will be reviewed by the Panels and therefore, how soon you will hear from us.
