Membership runs from January 1 to December 31. Please pay your membership dues by January 1.

Did you know that there is a Lifetime membership subscription?

If you have fifteen years continuous membership and will have reached age 60 by the 31st December 2010, you may retain your Institution membership without further payment by making a one-off payment of twice the annual Fellowship fee. The Lifetime membership fee payable from 1st January 2010 is $320.00

Reinstatement membership

Provided that your previous record can be found, re-instatement is effected by paying the current year's subscription. Currently there is no financial penalty for first time re-instatement.

If your record cannot be found you will be asked to provide proof of previous membership and the grade held. This usually only occurs when membership lapsed some time ago.

You will be re-admitted to the grade held at the time of leaving membership.

Serial Lapsing and Reinstatement

With effect from 29 January 2007, waiver of the administration fee on re-instatement only applies to the first instance of reinstatement.  Any member who seeks re-instatement on a second occasion is required to pay the prevailing administration fee (currently $50.00).  Thereafter, the administration fee is doubled for every subsequent reinstatement as illustrated below:

Second reinstatement - $50.00 administration fee
Third reinstatement - $100.00 administration fee

Overdue Subcriptions

Please make sure your 2010 Membership is paid by December 1, 2010 or your membership will be cancelled and you will not be able to rejoin until 2012.
